Van Gogh used oil on canvas to create this visual master piece; The motion/flow that he depicts in his art work is mesmerizing which is why I choose this painting. additionally, the colors that he used for this painting truly depicts that of a starry night in a sort of abstract perspective. although, the contrast between the blue and yellow is subtle it helps to bring life to the painting.
