Bruegel, "Hunters in the Snow"

This painting tells me about hunters with their hunting dogs searching for food during the winter. I picked this painting because not only is it an innocent act of survival but the black, white and gray imagery shows how bleak and cold thr weather is. At the bottom of the hill in the picture you can see families skating and playing around on the ice. The contrast between survival and entertainment is really nice to look at.
