The Artist of this painting is Harland Young. He is best known for his western art. However, this does not seem very western to me, when I think of western I imagine cowboys and horses. This is an oil painting on canvas. This painting is actually in my house above an old antique couch in my basement. I chose this painting because I like the colors that the artist used throughout the entire painting. I really think it portrays Autumn very well with the variety of colors used. I also like how the little waterfall actually looks as though it is in motion.
