This is an oil on wood painting and was completed in 1565 by Peter Bruegel. It is currently on display in the Kunsthistorisches Museum located in Vienna Austria. The painting illustrates 3 men accompanied by their dogs walking home after a day of hunting. As it seems, they came back empty handed and unsuccessful. By looking at how these 3 men are carrying themselves, it is quite obvious they are not happy with the days events. There is a great amount of depth in this painting, the mountains and the landscape in the background have just as much visible detail as the dogs and humans do.
